A nice Tom Morgan Rodsmiths graphite fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial number 95-4-10. The rod does not appear to have been fished. Translucent wraps with fine gold tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, female ferrule, and tip-top. Bright guides. The rod has a hook keeper and red agate stripping guide. The length and line as well as the serial number are inked on the blank. Nickel-silver, octagonal front and rear cork checks. Western-style grip. Nickel-silver slide band seat with a beautiful mortised, tiger maple spacer. The female ferrule features a nickel silver collar to aid in prevention of a ferrule crack. The rod has a fast dry fly action and weighs 2.78 oz. The bag is made of a satin-like material in a plum color with a black faux suede lining and a paisley piping around the edge. The tube is a heavy octagonal aluminum with a hammer-tone finish also in a plum color. The cap has knurled edges and a brass Tom Morgan Rodsmiths medallion set in the top. The tube is housed in a heavy black felt cover with an adjustable drawstring and piping at the bottom to match the rod bag.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
