A nice Fred Kretchman bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 3-piece, 2-tips, and built for a #3 line. Serial #00-66-04. The rod weighs 3 ounces on my scale. Mint condition. Nice medium fast action that is still semi full flexing and which benefits the action of a short rod. Light flame cane in a three up pattern in the butt. The wraps are brown with yellow edges and an extra band of red at the keeper and the ferrules. The stripping guide is a red agate in an oxidized frame. The snake guides are black. The step ferrules are oxidized black as well. The 5 1/2" long grip is shaped to a medium cigar profile. The grip still has heat shrink plastic on it. The reel seat is an oxidized cap and ring over a mortised and varnished walnut spacer. The cap has "FD Kretchman Rod Co" etched into it along with a casting rod design. The rod comes with ferrule plugs and packs into a light cloth bag and a black anodized rod tube with brass fittings.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
