A nice Pezon & Michel "Ritz Super Parabolic Fario Club" model bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for what feels like a #7 to me. The rod appears to be inked with the serial number "602". It weighs 5.5 ounces on my scale. Full flexing action. Staggered ferrule design with the tips 6 1/2" longer than the butt. A ferruled and varnished section plugs into the butt to extend the length to protect the tips. Very light use, with just a touch of minor hand soiling to the grip. Tip #1 has the start of a cosmetic ferrule wrap crack and the varnish is a touch rough at the snake guide. Tip #2 does not appear to have been used. Ferrule fits are fine and the rod is straight. The varnish appears to be in perfect original condition. Blonde cane with three up node pattern. The main wraps are green with red edges. The ferrules are oxidized, with red line-up markers. The grip is a generous 6 1/4" long and flares forward from about 5 3/4" back and a slight flare at the bottom to accommodate the hidden pocket cap. The reel seat is a burgundy red anodized up-lock screwlock. The bag is a red/maroon silk-like material with an embossed tag attached at the bottom and fits inside a plastic tube covered with a Pezon & Michel overbag.
