A superb Saracione Deluxe II trout reel, 3" in diameter and set up for LHW. 7/8" spool width and it weighs 5.8 ounces. I can find no sign that the reel has been fished at all. Serial #201. Fixed drag with a nice loud click. The polished black ebonite plates are nice and clean. The nickel silver rims show a little bit of natural tarnishing but could be easily polished up. Beautiful serpentine silver handle and foot. Thin, elegant pillars. Capacity for a #5 or #6 line with 60 yards of backing. Phenomenal craftsmanship on this reel, the kind you have come to expect from a maker like Joe. This is contemporary bench-made reelmaking at its finest. The reel comes in an Arne Mason leather case with Joe's logo embossed on the top of it.
