A nice Thomas and Thomas Caenis bamboo fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #3 line. 2.9 ounces. Serial #3702. One tip has been lawn cast so we will call this near mint. Just a faint hint of brassing to the guide in that one tip. Medium fast action but delicate and full flexing. The main wraps are transparent with the light brown edges with a band of black at the keeper, male ferrule, and tip tops. Dark brown at the ferrules. All the hardware is oxidized black and the female ferrule has a small T&T logo stamp. All sections are as straight as when they left the shop. The grip is 5" long and shaped to a medium cigar. It shows no signs of having been handled. The reel seat is a walnut cap and ring with the varnish showing no signs of a reel foot touching it. The rear cork check, the ring, and the butt cap retain 100% of their oxidation. The butt cap is stamped "Thomas and Thomas, Makers". Comes in a tan bag with stiffener and an aluminum tube with a brass collar and top.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
