Thomas and Thomas Bamboo Fly Rods
Thomas and Thomas Fly Rods was founded by Tom Dorsey and Tom Maxwell in 1969 and was rooted in the tradition of bamboo rodmaking from the very beginning. Maxwell would later leave the company but Dorsey stayed on, overseeing the production of bamboo rods (as well as graphite). Many of its models - the Individualist, the Sans Pareil, the Specialist, and others - are well loved by collectors and the shop has turned out a consistent quality of bamboo rods for its nearly fifty years in operation.
