For sale here is a handsome Edwards Perfection Series bamboo rod made by Bill Abrams (Streamer) of Housatonic Rods -- 7' 2/2 for a 5 weight line. Made in 2009. Near mint condition. Moderately tempered cane with pale gold wraps and purple tipping. The second tip features a small band of gold thread below the tip-top to distinguish it from the other tip. Sculpted bakelite winding check with a rather straight tapered cigar grip. The grip shows only the lightest of handling marks. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured wood spacer. Bakelite butt cap. The reel seat reads, "Wm Abrams RODMAKER" EW Edwards Perfection-Series" "2009". The rod weighs 3.95 oz. The ferrules are size 12/64. The fit is nice and tight. Includes original bag and labeled tube.
From Streamer: "This rod is truly a pleasure to cast - built for small to medium water, it can carry more line than most 7 footers, all the while remaining light and accurate. The action may be described as light crisp-medium-fast progressive, full, variable timing with a forgiving nature. If you fish flows between 20 to 150 cfs, all size dry flies for trout, this taper becomes an extension of your index finger from 10 to 50 feet."

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
