For sale here is a Marc Aroner 7'6 3/2 4wt Spring Creek Special Model Bamboo Rod. Mint condition. The extra signature wraps make this rod stand out handsomely. This rod is exquisitely crafted as are all of Marc's rods. With other notable builders such as Bob Summers and a few others, Marc's rods are simply the best in my opinion. This Spring Creek Model rod, a blonde version of the Hunt Pattern rods, has Marc's gorgeous olive wraps with red edges and the varnish job is perfect. Mirrored tips. "3-up" node pattern. Nicely oxidized hardware components. Standard swiss type ferrules. Stunning birdseye maple reel seat spacer. The die stamp on the cap dates this rod to the late 1990's. Medium fast action, but of course more moderate than Marc's Hunt Pattern rods. The rod weighs exactly 4 oz. Complete with brass ferrule plugs and original bag and tube.
