A William Abrams Edwards Tribute bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 3-piece, 2-tip and built for a #5 line. 5.3 ounces. Fast DF action. Used condition, usable but has a bent stripping guide (fortunately the agate appears to be uncracked). The rod has some grip soiling and some cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. The cane has been oven tempered with dark nodes. The tempering is extra heavy at each end of the sticks. The butt section is done in a three up node pattern, but I don't see that in the mid and tips. The main wraps are yellow with black edges. Some wraps show semi-penetration of varnish turning part of the wraps transparent. Black plastic front cork check. The grip is 5 1/2" long and shaped to a blunt cigar profile. The reel seat is a pocket cap and ring with a west coast maple burl. Green cloth bag and aluminum tube with brass fittings. The William Abrams data sticker is somewhat degraded rending it semi-legible.
