A very nice Bogdan 300 Salmon reel, one of the most desirable spey reels ever made. It doesn't get any better than this for larger salmon or steelhead rivers. This is the second largest model in the Bogdan lineup, with a 3.75" diameter and 1.375" spool width. Built to fish #10 lines it holds 200 yards of 20 lb backing and weighs 12.5 ounces. Set up for RHW. This one appears unfished. There is one tiny mark on the frame edge in one spot, but with no other typical signs of fishing use (mounting marks, etc.) I suspect it is from handling. The reel is pristine otherwise. Clear anodized silver frame with black sideplates, and a silver handle, foot, oil port over, drag adjustment housing, poacher's knob and Bogdan nameplate. "300" is stamped into the underside of the reel foot. This reel has the renowned Bogdan double brake drag design that will stop any salmon you are lucky enough to get into, as well as a 2:1 multiplier retrieve. No bag or case, though it does have what looks like the original hangtag with the model and original owner's name inked on it. These 300 models are exceptionally rare and this is a superb example.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
