A nice Bogdan 00 salmon reel in good used condition with a spare spool. RHW. This 00 was one of Stan's lighter models, designated as a reel for grilse or large sea trout. This is a somewhat unusual model 00 in that it is a double action retrieve (most of the 00's I've handled have been single with ventilation on the crank side of the frame and spool). 3 1/4" diameter and a 1.15" spool width, designed to hold a #7 weight line. This reel is in good shape, with some very light rim rash in the usual "resting place" on the rims, some brassing on the drag adjuster, and a few light marks around the takeapart screws. Black sideplates with silver anodized frame, foot, crank, oil port cover, poacher's knob, and Bogdan nameplate. "00" is stamped into the side of the foot. The spare spool appears to be little used, though has the remnants of a line sticker on the inside. If you are looking for an excellent light salmon reel for single handed rods it would be hard to do better than this. Comes in a brown leather drawstring bag.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
