Bogdan Model 400 Single Action Fly Reel - Unused!

For sale here is a very scarce Model 400 Bogdan Salmon reel without the standard 2:1 multiplier gearing. This one is single action retrieve, or 1:1. The reel is right hand retrieve and in near mint+ condition with some very faint handling marks in the anodizing (these are not scratches that penetrate the anodizing, and they are not possible to photograph). The reel has never been lined and the foot is perfect with no marks from being mounted on a rod.These Single Action Bogdan 400s are supremely difficult to find and especially in this condition. The reel comes housed in its original suede case with hang tag. The name on the hang tag has been photoshopped out for privacy sake.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
