An exquisite Stan Bogdan Model 50 light salmon reel, set up for LHW. 3 1/2" in diameter with a 1 5/32" spool width. Weighs 9.1 ounces. This reel has never seen a line on it and is completely mint. Silver anodized spool, frame, serpentine handle and counterbalance, oil cap, poacher's knob, nameplate, and foot. "50" stamped on the foot. Side plates and drag selector knob are black anodized. The handle sideplate and spool on the handle side are both ventilated. It has been a privilege for me to handle a number of Bogdan reels and I find that they are similar to bamboo rods in that they all have a personality. This is one that I just really admired, a great individual example of a model that beautifully combines classic looks, smooth operation, and incredibly tight tolerances. The reel comes in the original Bogdan suede bag.
We attempt to ship all of our items via the United States Postal Service and do our best to ship at cost (if other shipping providers such as UPS / FedEx / DHL are required we may add a surcharge to the shipping costs stated below). Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible. All items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
Please note that any international customs duties (such as VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the buyer. Massachusetts residents must pay a 6.25% sales tax on all purchases.
