For sale here is a Richard Bradley 2 5/8" fly reel in near mint condition. Super scarce all-black finish and very stylish frame design. Anodized aluminim construction with German silver and aluminum accents. Unlike most of Mr. Bradley's reels that feature a integrated spool/handle arm, this reel actually has a separate front and back plate and the handle arm is held in place with the knurled n/s "Bradley" screw that attaches to the spool. The cog/gear on this reel and other Bradley reels has 48 teeth! The "pawl" in Bradley reels is a simple ball bearing, thus the need for more teeth than a usual gear in a standard click/pawl reel. The reel can be used right or left hand retrieve because there is equal "click" tension both ways. The only marks are to the reel foot from being mounted on a rod. Made for 3-4 weight lines. Weighs 5 1/2 oz. Spool width 7/8". Comes with original pouch and Bradley box. Mr. Bradley made very fine reels and this is a special one.
