Special Limited Edition. Size: 4to. Text body is clean. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. A deluxe limited edition of 100 copies individually numbered, this one being number 10, handsewn and quarter bound in brown Nigerian goatskin with boards of Dutch linen cloth and leather along the fore edge of each board; leather head bands appear at the top and bottom of the spine which is stamped in 22 carat gold. The book is housed in a quarter leather clamshell box with a title and museum logo stamped on the spine. Frontispiece of this edition is a four-color print of an oil painting by John Swan entitled "New Moon". The print was commissioned especially for this edition and limited to 100 copies and is signed and numbered by the artist to correspond with the book in which it appears. Black-and-white photographs are by Bob O'Shaughnessy, 199 pages, Index, Bibliography. This is a heavy book which may require extra postage.
