Carpenter Bros. Bamboo Rod - 8'5 3/2 4wt Hollowbuilt Hex

For sale here is a very fine hollow-built rod by Cris Carpenter - an 8'5" 3/2 4-5 weight. Serial no. 415. Six-sided construction. The rod is in mint condition. All sections are full length and straight.

Moderately tempered cane with a matte finish and honey-colored wraps. Burgundy tipping at the winding check, ferrules, and tip-tops. Blued hardware throughout. The full wells grip measures 6" in length with the original protective still in place. Classic cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. "Carpenter" is engraved on the bottom of the butt cap. The Hariki micro ferrules are of the utmost quality and have a perfect fit. The rod weighs an even 4 oz. The action is a medium-fast that finds an exceptional balance between backbone in the butt to finesse from the tips. A very versatile "all-around" trout rod. Includes the original bag and tube with label.
