For sale here is a Charlton 8450C fly reel with 7/8 spool in unfished condition. The reel is set up for RHW but can be easily reversed to LHW. Comes with its original cordura reel pouch.
There are a few what appear to be very small and insignificant water marks in the anodized finish, probably from spending its time in a high humidity environment. No marks exist on the reel foot. No scratches or dings. The inside is also flawless. Mechanically flawless. Comes loaded with line and backing in new condition. This was a "backup" reel for my client and it was never used.
Exceptional quality in a flexible design that you can tailor to the conditions. With the quick change of a spool you can alter both the weight of the reel and line with appropriate backing capacity. Exclusive configurable system accommodates three different quick change spools: 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 weight. Cover a range of six line weights with a single reel. Retrieve rate increases as you mount spools engineered for smaller line weights, resulting in a large arbor, quick-retrieve reel. When mounted with the smaller spools it becomes a lightweight, quick-retrieve, freshwater reel. Carbon fibre disk drag system built for larger species. Type III anodization for maximum saltwater protection. Oversized 5/8" smooth-riding aerospace bearings. Complete enclosure of all mechanical components to protect against contamination from the elements. New patent pending snap-reverse system instantly reverses to left or right hand retrieve with the push of a button.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
