Cozzone Marbleized 80 Yd Fly Reel

For sale here is a gorgeous and very rare marbleized Cozzone 80 yd fly reel. This is the typical nickel silver banded model but with the atypical marbleized side plates. The Cozzone logo is nice and clear. No cracks or chips in the sideplates and very little wear to the nickel silver rims or pillars. Nice and strong clicker - super tight fishing reel! On/off click switch works fine and when the clicker isn't engaged, the handle arm spins very freely - very smoothly. The back plate also has a removable knurled bearing cap, which could be adjusted over a Julius Vom Hofe-style spider washer. All original screws as well. The reel foot is slightly bent as you can see in the photos, but this doesn't impair its fit in reel seats.
Comes with an original Cozzone reel box with a replacement bottom cardboard piece. Reel fits perfectly inside the box.
From my research, this reel was made somewhere between 1924-1931.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
