For sale here is a custom made Vince Cummings Boron/Graphite 8' 4/5wt two-piece fly rod. Model number FL-680L. The rod is in excellent overall condition. Sanded graphite blank with gold wraps and black tipping. Bright guides. Ceramic stripping guide. Ring hook-keeper. There is a thread at the winding check that is beginning to fray but is not of major concern. Western-style grip. The grip is soiled and very lightly ridged. Up-locking aluminum reel seat with a beautifully figured wood spacer. The butt cap is of the same wood. The rod features spigot ferrules to make for a more efficient cast. The sections fit together tightly as they should. The weight of the rod is 2.85 oz. The action is quite a bit slower than most graphite rods allowing for feel, delicacy, and precision. Original bag and tube with label.
