David Slater 3 1/2" Gunmetal Fly Reel - Model 226

For sale here is a fine example of a 3 1/2" leaded reel made by David Slater. Model 226. Nice original gunmetal finish. Winds fairly smoothly with a slight wobble. Unfiled smooth brass reel foot is 3" long. Nickel plated brass pillars. Very clean aluminum spool. Original handle spins freely. Click/pawl consistently strong in either direction, so this can be fished RHW or LHW. Reel weighs 8.9oz. Someone needs to be fishing this reel.
