A gorgeous Edward vom Hofe #2 Perfection trout reel, the most coveted trout model in the Vom Hofe lineup. At 2 3/4" in diameter, this rare little beauty is the perfect sized EVH to pair with your finest 7' or 7'6" rod. It is made of German silver and hard rubber, and it has the sliding drag disc with the delicate arrowhead adjuster underneath the “S” shaped handle. "360" and "D127" are stamped into the foot crossbar, noting the model and serial number respectively. The serial number dates this reel to 1911. "2" is stamped into the underside of the foot, noting the size. It carries the ‘83 patent on the rear grease cap with an on/off click that works as intended, and favors RHW. There are no cracks in the hard rubber, and no replaced parts or line burns in the rims or pillars. The foot measures 2 1/4" in length and appears unmolested. No pouch (the one pictured in the photo is not included). This is a centerpiece reel for any collection, and is quite rare in this condition.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
