Edwards Quadrate 7'6 Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is an Edwards "Quadrate" 7'6" fiberglass rod for a 5-6wt. The rod is in very good+ original condition though it does show some wear throughout the blank from honest fishing use and would benefit from a cleaning/polishing. All wraps are sound and guides secure. The rod features blued nickel silver ferrules with red witness marks, size 15/64 and the fit is perfect with a satisfying pop upon separation. The round (not four-sided) blank is black, appearing as an incredibly dark green in some light. Copper colored wraps with gold double band tipping. The script is typical Edwards style written in white. Ring hook-keeper. Blued guides. The grip is in the "Quadrate" style and somewhat of a hybrid of a western and cigar grip. The grip is soiled but in lovely condition absent of ridging or gouges. Bakelite winding check. The reel seat appears to be made of bakelite with an up-locking screw-lock mechanism. The rod weighs 4 5/8 oz. The action is very fast and quite stout. Includes original bag and tube with label and brass collar. The label is 20% intact, though one can make partially make out "Edwards" and "Quadrate".
