Green River Rods (Robert Gorman) - 8' 2wt Graphite Rod

For sale here is a Green River (Robert Gorman) 8' 2wt 2 pc. graphite fly rod. Serial no. 2914. The rod is in excellent+ condition having been fished very little. 

Built on a dark green sanded blank with jet black wraps and bright emerald green tipping. The original owner's name is printed on the butt along with the rod information. Blued guides. White witness dots for easy set-up. The sleeve ferrules fit together nice and tightly as they should. U-shaped hook-keeper. Sculpted, finely turned black checks. Reverse half-wells grip 6" in length with mild soiling and quite smooth. Black aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured mortised burl wood spacer. The rod weighs 2.05 oz. The action is medium-fast and capable of considerable delicacy thanks in part to the softer action. The long length allows for excellent drifts and mending. Despite being a 2wt it certainly isn't dainty and could handle a larger fish should you hook into one. A 3wt line might also suit the rod well.
