A nice Hal Bacon (Kosmic Rod Co) fly rod, a 46-4 "Catskill" model, 6', 3-piece, 2-tips, built for a #4 line. Serial #06106. 2.7 oz. Excellent used condition. A crisp, fast action. The rod has very light hand soiling to the grip, some reel foot impressions to the slide band seat, and a small hook graze scratch about 3" up from the keeper wrap but it does not go through to the bamboo. The bamboo itself is wheat straw color and the rod has a three up node pattern construction. The wraps are a light-colored tan main with red edges and a black band at the male ferrules which are wrapped in light olive. The ferrules are Leonard style step down and all the hardware is polished bright. The reel seat is varnished tiger maple wood with a cap and ring slide band. The cap has a roll die stamp "Kosmic" in a cartouche and underneath "Kosmic rod co L.L.C." The grip is a finely pointed cigar about 5" long. The rod packs into a tan cloth bag and an aluminum tube with a brass top and bottom.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
