Moderately tempered cane with transparent honey colored wraps and chestnut tipping. The winding check and ferrules are wrapped in a dark cinnamon with chestnut and honey tipping. Bright guides. Full wells taper measures 6" in length with slight soiling. Nickel silver up-locking reel seat over a mortised walnut spacer with a mahogany butt cap. The Swiss-style micro ferrules are size 13/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs a lean 3.30 oz. The action is on the fast side of medium-fast, possessing the backbone from the butt required to toss flies a long distance if needed. Includes the original bag and brass-capped tube with a Wanigas labeled tube bag.
