For sale here is a very versatile Hardy Palakona 7 1/2' for a 5-6 weight line. Two sections with two tips. Serial G/L. Made in 1977. The rod is in excellent+ original condition having been fished sparingly. All sections are full length and straight.
The rod features straw-colored cane with black wraps and emerald tipping. Reverse-twist English-style guides. Agate stripper. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. Ring hook keeper. Aluminum winding check. The cigar grip measures 5 1/2" in length with mild soiling. Aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. The ferrules have a perfect fit, nice and snug. Includes original ferrule plug. The rod weighs 3.60 oz. The action is a smooth medium-fast dry-fly with excellent recovery. A great balance of power in the butt to delicacy in the tips. Includes the original bag and replacement tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
