For sale here is a Hardy The "Perfection" 7'10" 2/1 for a 5 weight line. Serial no. H28339. Made in 1960. The rod is in excellent original condition. Both sections are full length with a minor set in the tip. The tip section was made 5/8" shorter than the butt section.
The rod features dark straw colored cane with burgundy wraps and full intermediates. Clear agate guide. The majority of the script remains clean and bold with a bit of fading in the word "perfection". Full wells grip is 7" in length with moderate soiling. Bright aluminum up-locking reel seat over a bakelite spacer with a hard rubber fighting butt. The rod weighs 5.15 oz. The rod features interesting screw-lock ferrules with an excellent and also includes the original ferrule plug. The action is a swift and authoritative medium-fast dry fly. Includes the original bag.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
