Hardy Cascapedia Brunswick Fly Reel 1/0

A fine Hardy Brunswick Cascapedia 1/0 limited edition fly reel, 2 7/8" diameter and set up for LHW. Made in 1991, Hardy reissued 500 of these reels worldwide and this one is serial #185.The reel weighs 9.2 oz and has a 1 1/8" spool width. This reel appears unfished though there are a few minor rubbings here and there from handling. The drum is made from highly polished bar-stock 6262 aluminum with a naval brass, integrally-machined spindle. The side-plates are polished ebonite, the rims are stainless steel, the reel seat is brass nickel, and the pillars, drag selector, and check button are finished in polished nickel silver. The medallion notes that Ian Evans was the maker who did this reel in the Hardy factory. It comes in a handsome leather reel case and an outer box with papers that provide further information about Hardy and these limited reels. A nice option here for the Hardy aficionado, particularly in this smaller trout size.
