Hardy Perfect 3 1/4" Wide Drum Fly Reel with Line Guard

VFT4457

From the estate of author, fishing guru, and winner of the Buz Buszek award, Andre Puyans:

For sale here is a nice example of a pre-war Hardy Perfect Duplicated MK II wide drum fly reel from the 1930s with a nickel silver line guard. Badged for retailer H.C. Golcher & Co. San Francisco. The tensioner functions perfectly throughout its range. No problematic wobble or end play. If you'll notice, the gear teeth are in fantastic condition for a reel of this age! The ebonite handle spins freely. The original ribbed brass foot is unaltered. All in all, a spectacular Hardy wide drum reel in a hard to find size. It also comes with a very fine Homa leather reel case.

Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
Other Terms
Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
