For sale here is a Hardy Smuggler De-Luxe 7' 5wt 6 pc. graphite fly rod. Serial no. ET62145. The rod is in excellent+ condition. Sanded oxblood colored blank with burgundy wraps and red tipping. All of the script and decals remain in excellent condition. The spigot ferrules fit perfectly with a slight gap to allow for wear over time. Witness marks for easy alignment. Cigar grip 5 1/8" in length with only light handling marks. Bronze colored aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. The rod weighs a lean 1.95 oz. The action is fast but with much more feel than most modern graphite rods. This allows for delicate casts and tippet protection. Though marked for a 5wt line a DT4 would also suit the rod well. This is the ultimate hiking/backpacking rod. Each section is only 15" in length, suitable for even the smallest backpacks.
