Harms, William A. - 8'6 5wt Fiberglass Fly Rod

For sale here is a William A. Harms fiberglass rod - 8'6" 5wt 4 pc. Blanks made by Mike McFarland. Weight 3 3/8 oz. The rod is in excellent plus condition having been used very little. The glass is a nice honey color with slightly darker honey colored wraps with orange tipping. Agate stripping guide. Oxidized nickel silver cap and ring over an olive wood spacer. There is a small scuff on the end cap. Cigar shaped cork grip is very clean. Spigot ferrules with witness marks. The rod flexes deeply and has fine tips. You'll feel the rod load even at short distances and it will shoot a ton of line when you want to reach out. Great for small and medium sized streams where back casts may be restricted. A very nice all-around fly rod. Comes with original bag and aluminum tube with brass cap.
