For sale here is a Henschel Dual Mode No. 3 fly reel. Made in Germany. Serial no. 3197. The reel is in mint un-fished condition. RIght hand retrieve. Extremely strong adjustable double disk drag on the handle side of the reel.Teflon compound braking disc material (no cork!) Type III anodized finish for absolute corrosion resistance.Anti-reverse feature plus override function for switching mid-fight to direct drive (definition of "Dual-Mode"); the best of both worlds. Progressive foot-forward reel foot. Easy spool change. Great for big Salmon, pike, Bonito, Striper, Dorado. Includes original case. An extremely fine reel with the highest degree of quality design and craftsmanship.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
