Gary Howells Bamboo Rod 6'6" 2/2 #3/4

For sale here is a Gary Howells 6 1/2 foot bamboo rod for a three or four weight line. Baby Catskill style! Serial no. 6110. The rod is in excellent++ original condition. The one and only issue is a tiny chip in the varnish on the butt section. All sections are full length and straight. 

Beautiful varnished cane finish with copper wraps and gold tipping. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. Ring hook keeper. The hybrid Garrison/reverse half wells grip measures 5 1/2". Bright aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a mortised cork spacer. The ferrules are size 11/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs a lean 2.45 oz. and feels terrific in the hand. Medium action. Includes the original bag and tube with label late-era dome-shaped cap.
