For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod in mint condition - 8 1/2 feet for a 5 weight in the standard 2/2 format, labeled 4 1/8 oz. Serial number 5823. Made for Gary's good friend, Gary McGuffin. Carbide stripping guide, wrapped in brown thread with gold trim. Reverse half wells grip, uplocking aluminum reel seat with gorgeous zebrawood spacer. Includes original red bag and labeled aluminum tube. As you can see from Howell's note to his friend, he considers this his best effort!
