For sale here is a stunning Kabuto 7'6" 4wt 3 pc. fiberglass rod. Serial no. 4509. Near mint condition. The rod features an unsanded translucent honey-colored blank with matching wraps and fine black tipping. Moderately oxidized guides, banded amber agate stripping guide. The rod has spigot ferrules for a smooth transfer of energy through the sections. The sections fit together perfectly with a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. Fine, oxidized nickel silver checks. Cigar-style grip with a slender nose and a rather straight taper -- 5 7/8" in length. Oxidized, nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a handsome mortised stacked bamboo spacer. The rod weighs 3.55 oz. The action is medium-fast. Includes original bag as well as Kabuto's amazing fiberglass tube.
