For sale here is a Larry Kenney 13' 4 pc. 8wt spey rod. Serial no. 97-33. The rod is built on an R.L. Winston graphite blank. The rod remains in excellent++ condition appearing to have only been lawn cast.
The rod features a sanded green blank with matching wraps and emerald green tipping at the winding check, ferrules, and tip-tops. Bright guides. The spigot ferrules fit together perfectly and include gold witness marks. The grip measures 11 3/8" in length with only the slightest of soiling. There is also a bit of a red tint at the top and bottom of the grip left from the burgundy rod bag. Black aluminum up-locking reel seat over a cork spacer. The lower portion of the grip/fighting butt measures 6 1/2" in length with soiling consistent with the rest. The rod weighs in at 6.95 oz. Includes the original bag and tube with Larry Kenney label on the cap.
