Nice two-piece rod from Ron Kusse, serial #8262 according to the hanging tag. Blonde cane, three up node pattern with no apparent swell. Dry-fly action. The tips are not mirrored. Slim to medium cigar grip - 12 corks, 5 3/4". Bright cap and ring seat (unoxidized) and the varnished spacer appears to be maple. The butt cap is stamped "Ron Kusse, Maker" in the cartouche. No rear cork check as reel seat wood meets the cork. No front cork check as there is a very short wrap at the front of the grip. Nicely varnished but has some fishing related scuffs in the varnish here and there. Clear light tan wraps. Swiss ferrules. Cloth bag with stiffener. Brushed aluminum tube with brass top and nice stamp.
