For sale here is a H.L. Leonard, pre-fire Model 51 (or 51DF) Tournament bamboo rod. Nine feet in length. Three sections with two tips. The rod weighs 4 7/8 oz. I'd recommend a six-weight double taper line. Ferrule sizes 17/64 and 11/64. Very good original condition. All sections are full-length. Good ferrule fit. Agate tip tops and stripping guide. Nickel silver cap and ring over butternut spacer. The original ferrule plugs are still present. Both tips have slight sets. Original bag and tube. The bag has the remnants of the hang tag, but the hang tag itself is missing This rod has been preserved very nicely and would be happy to have a new owner who appreciates its place in Catskill history.
