A Mario Wojnicki Model 250GF fly rod, 8'2" (250 cm to be precise), 3-piece, 2-tips, built for a #6. Hexagonal construction with glass ferrules. "M. Wojnicki" inked on the butt section as well as "250GF63 #3716". Pleasing, medium fast parabolic action. The rod is straight and the ferrule fits are good. Appears to be in lawn-cast, near mint condition. It has the faintest hint of soiling to the grip and some tiny indentations on the reel seat spacer suggesting that it has had a reel mounted. There is also a cosmetic "casting crack" on the female ferrule wrap on the butt due to the underlying flexing of the rod (quite common to find and cosmetic in nature only). Mottled light and dark flamed cane and the rod is done in a two-opposed node construction. There are a number of subtle glue lines in various parts of the blank. Medium honey colored wraps with black tipping at the grip and tip-top. The fiberglass ferrules are wrapped in black (there is a slight area of discoloration on the female ferrule wrap on the mid). The ferrules are a medium gray color and come with small ferrule plugs. Nice varnish throughout. Powell style grip with a large flare at the top. Uplocking slide band reel seat over a walnut (??) spacer with a cork and composite button on the very bottom of the rod. Comes packed in a light tan bag and an aluminum tube with gold-anodized fittings with "250GF" stamped into the top and "M Wojnicki, Maker" on the tube itself.
