A nice Mike Clark (South Creek Limited) Gierach Signature bamboo fly rod, 7’9”, 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. The rod weighs 4.4 ounces on my scale. Serial #080. New, unused with the plastic still on the grip. Each of these models was signed by Gierach. Medium-fast action. The cane is lightly flamed with the nodes arranged in a left hand spiral. The main wraps are brown with a light brown edge and black intermediates. The stripping guide is agate and the snakes are light wire black. The super Z style ferrules are oxidized black. The ferrules come with ferrule plugs. The grip is composed of 1/4” corks and is 6 1/4” long, shaped to a blunt cigar profile. The rear check, cap, and ring are oxidized and have a rope knurl. The ring and cap are engraved and the cap is stamped “South Creek Ltd., Rodmaker Lyons, Colorado.” The flatted and varnished spacer looks like West Coast Maple burl. The rod packs into a blue rod bag and the rod tube is painted with black crackle paint and has brass hardware. The South Creek data sticker is 100% intact.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
