For sale here is a Limited Edition Orvis CFO III fly reel and two extra spools. Made in England by BFR (British Fly Reels).
The reel is in excellent condition with only the smallest of blemishes. One of the springs inside was slightly raised above its normal position on the pawl and the result is some rub marks where the spring edge was impacting the surface of the inner spool. The spring is now back in its normal position with no rub.
One of the spools has been dropped and the rim is dented (this does not affect the operation of the reel). The other spare spool shows a bit of rust on the gear.
The reel and spools feature a handsome matte olive green and gold anodized finish. The reel features a quick change spool and a is easily convertible from RHW to LHW. Currently set up for RHW. The reel is rated for line weights 5-7. The reel is 3" in diameter with a spool width of 11/16" of an inch. The reel weighs 4.95 oz. with line and backing. The reel comes with Wulff TT5 line in like new condition. Complete with an Orvis zippered leather/canvas case.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
