For sale here is an early 1970's Orvis CFO IV Screwback fly reel. Made in England by Hardy Bros. The reel remains in excellent+ condition showing some slight edge wear. Mechanically the reel is perfect. The tarnish on the nickel silver line guide should polish up easily if one is so inclined to do so.
The reel features a quick change spool and is compatible with all later made CFO IV's. Right or left hand retrieve. Includes the original leather pouch with lambswool lining. Don't miss out on this rare version of the CFO - a true modern classic!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
