For sale here is an impregnated Orvis Kit Rod 9' 3/2 6-7 weight. The rod is in excellent condition. All sections are full length. The rod features golden wraps all of which remain in excellent condition as does the varnish. The tip section ferrule wraps feature red tipping on one and black on the other to distinguish them from one another. Blued guides. U-shaped hook keeper. The cigar/Garrison hybrid grip is 6 1/2" in length with moderate soiling. The cork is a bit wavy and inconsistent in its taper. This is not to be confused with ridging, the cork is very smooth. Classic Orvis aluminum down-locking reel seat with a removable butt cap and a removable 5 1/4" fighting butt. The fighting butt is in excellent+ condition. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 12/64 and 18/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs 6.35 oz. The action is a powerful and smooth medium-fast.Although this rod was finished out by the consumer, the blanks were made by Orvis and as such represent Orvis quality. All of the components came ready to put together from Orvis. Comes with custom-made rod bag and tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
