For sale here is an impregnated Orvis "Wes Jordan" 7'6 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 84132. Made in 1980. The rod appears to be in unused condition.
The rod features straw colored cane with cinnamon colored wraps. The original info's scripted is on the flats as well as the original owner's. Bright guides. Ring hook keeper. Aluminum winding check. The cigar grip measures 6 3/8" in length. Aluminum down-locking reel seat over a handsome walnut spacer. The butt cap also features the original owner's name on the bottom. The blued step-down ferrules have an excellent fit. The rod weighs in at 4.10 oz. with a labeled weight of 3 7/8 oz. The action is a wonderful medium-fast that finds a great balance between finesse and power. Though marked for a 6wt most Orvis rods do best with a line size down. A very versatile rod ready for just about any trout situation.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
