For sale here is a wonderful 8' 5wt 3-pc. fiberglass fly rod from Fred Paddock. The rod is in near mint condition with the only evidence of use being slight soiling of the grip. It features an unsanded translucent glass blank with transparent wraps and sand colored tipping. Ceramic stripping guide. The rod features sleeve over ferrule with a perfect fit. Cigar grip 5 1/2" in length. Simple blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured wood spacer. The bluing on the butt cap and sliding band are free of any wear. The rod weighs 3.35 oz. Terrific medium-fast dry-fly action with plenty of power in the butt. The tip allows for smooth delicate casts and tippet protection. Includes original suede bag with label and original labeled tube with brass fittings.
