A very nice Dr. Paul Hermann Dry Fly Salmon fly reel, 3 3/16" diameter and set up for LHW. Mint, unused condition. This is one of only 12 dry fly models that Dr. Hermann ever made, and it is slightly smaller in capacity than the standard salmon model. Highly polished aluminum rims with black sideplates, all done in the classic S-handle design. 1 1/4" spool width and the reel weighs 11 ounces on my scale. Serial number "PH102" which is stamped into the underside of the foot crossbar along with "P. Hermann, Maker". An entirely benchmade reel down to the screws. Bogdan-style drag system with a 1.9:1 multiplying retrieve. A superb example of Dr. Hermann's craft, this reel packs into a red fleece drawstring pouch. A nice opportunity to pick up a very scarce model indeed!
