Peak, Russ -- 9' 2 pc. 4 1/4 oz. Fiberglass Steelhead Rod

For sale here is a Russ Peak 9' 2 pc. 4 1/4 oz. fiberglass steelhead rod. Made in 1958. Model no. 10905-6000. The rod remains in excellent original condition appearing to have been fished very little. 

The rod features a rust-colored sanded glass blank with matching wraps and silver tipping. Bright guides. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. The original owner's name and address are written along with the rod information. The full wells grip measures 6 1/2" in length with light soiling and some slight ridging. Aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. The nickel silver Swiss-style ferrules have a perfect fit with silver witness dots. The rod weighs in at 4.30 oz. The action is a strong, authoritative medium-fast well suited for an 8-weight line. The nature of fiberglass allows for surprising sensitivity for a rod this size.
