For sale here is a Per Brandin model 865-3df HB: six-strip, 8'6", 3/2, 3 7/8 oz. WF5/DT5. Serial number HB 1/05. Beautiful medium dark cane. Hollow built six-strip rod. Translucent cinnamon silk wraps with black tipping at the grip, ferrules, and tip top. Similar signature wraps. Perfect varnish. Modified wells grip with oxidized dark nickel silver slide band and butt cap. Mortised mahogany spacer. A perfect reel seat, the slide band is tapered so the wood spacer is never marred. Beautiful cork. Oxidized dark nickel silver Swiss-style micro ferrules. A micro ferrule is used for the top joint and a truncated ferrule for the butt mid-joint. Comes with ferrule plugs. Oxidized dark agate stripping guide and dark titanium nitrate snake guides. All original rod, bag and case with heavy canvas rod tube protector. Perfect label on rod tube. Condition: Never used. Super smooth dry fly action with fine tips. A great rod for streams and lakes.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
