For sale here is a rather scarce Pezon et Michel - Parabolic Concours "Distance 100" bamboo rod. 7'7" 6wt 2/1. Made in France. The rod is in excellent original condition. Both sections are full length and straight. Characteristic, P&M staggered ferrule construction. The ferrule plug is missing.
The rod features warm honey-toned cane with black wraps and bronzed guides. The stripping guide is made of a large bronzed hoop 5/8" in diameter. The script on the butt remains clean and bold, free of defects. Petite, cigar-style grip 4" in length with a thumb indentation. Dual, bright aluminum sliding band reel seat with a cork spacer. There is only enough space for a very slim reel foot to fit. The grip is moderately soiled but free of ridging, hook gouges or other defects. The rod weighs 3.50 oz. The ferrules are Swiss style, likely of Pezon's own design and construction. They are size 15/64, the fit is excellent. The action is fast but the rod still retains feel. The "Distance Series" was designed for tournament/competition casting. An average caster can easily lay out 70' of DT6. This is a wonderful rod that takes us back to the Charles Ritz era of competition fly casting, don't miss out. Includes original bag and paper tag on bag. No tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
