For sale here is a Pezon et Michel Parabolic Special Normale bamboo rod. 8'7" 2/1 for a 5 weight line. Originally sold as 1 tip. Made in France. The rod is in good condition, though there is chipping of the varnish throughout the rod, concentrated mostly on the tip section. Rod would perhaps need to be re-wrpped as well. Slight fishing set in the tip that can easily be taken out.This rod is an excellent candidate for a restoration. Burgundy wraps with two burgundy tipping bands. 3 x 3 node spacing. The rod has a parabolic medium-fast action. The classic P&M ferrules with red witness marks fit nicely and pop when pulled apart. Ferrule plug. Modified wells cork is in excellent shape. Aluminum down-locking reel-seat over cork also in great shape. "Pezon et Michel Paris Amboise" stamp on the end cap. Rod comes with original P&M bag. Replacement tube. Note, this is a French made P&M, not a Sharpe's or Farlow's rod built on a P&M blank. The rod weighs 4.90 oz. Ferrule size 15/64. Serial number 876924.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
